I am used to using my fingers on the touchscreen, giving the stylus permanent rest. That's the best way to protect the screen in the absence of a screen protector !

I'm more concerned about the plectrum. It cut a nice 7 or 8mm line in my screen. Thanks Nokia for your effective screen dismemberment tool. Not. Bar stewards. Get your screen protectors folks, or change to the iPhone. Apple obviously were more than one step ahead of the game there. Had a screen protector on my iPaq for 5 years, no problem; why didn't I foresee this happening with a new release phone from a company in financial difficulty. I'm rather annoyed. No. Really.
